Important note:
In future, FILAINE will also be wound on our standard King Cone, which is why the make-up will change to 1,500m.The more modern machine optimizes the winding pattern on the cone, which also improves the process on the embroidery machine.
During the changeover phase, some colors are available in 1,000m and some already in 1,500m.
Once you have selected the desired color, you can see which version is available by looking at the “Content”.

Product description
Acrylic wool combines the natural look of wool with the durable properties of acrylic. A perfect combination of design and Technology for many embroidery and seam applications. FILAINE convinces by its fine wool texture is robust in processing and convinces by its high tear and abrasion resistance.
Note:
The dye lots are continuously numbered by us and marked by a stamp on our cartons. Please take care that you always process embroidery threads of the same dye lot for one embroidery order.

FILAINE 12 - Acrylic thread with wool character
- Only use embroidery programs which are determined for such strong yarns with needle work character.
Important: Few short stitches, low stitch density, few or no underlay stitches. - If you embroider on knitted fabrics, we recommend stabilising the knitwear before embroidering with our embroidery fleece STIFFY®. In case of high quality designs, we recommend using coated STIFFY® (type B) which can be ironed onto the fabric. The embroidery fleece can be easily removed after having embroidered.
- For embroideries on coarse fabrics, SOLVY will prevent stitches from
disappearing in the fabric, thus enhancing the special needlework
touch.
