The lightest, soft, gentle embroidery stabilizer, 51 g/m², is a cut-away stabilizer.
Available in white and black.
When high stability is required for embroidery, cut-away stabilizers are the perfect choice, as they stand out thanks to their special construction and material composition, offering particularly high stitch stability.
The thin stabilizer is very soft and hardly adds any bulk. After embroidering, simply cut the stabilizer around the edges of the design. The remaining stabilizer within the design will keep the embroidery stable for the entire lifetime of the textile. Even frequent wearing, washing, and ironing do not affect the stabilizer—it remains stable.
The slightly greater time required to trim back the embroidery stabilizer pays off in the higher quality of the embroidery result.

STIFFY 2040 – for lightweight to firm, stretchable fabrics and knitwear
- Cut STIFFY 2040 slightly larger than the embroidery hoop.
- Hoop together with the fabric.
- Embroider the design.
- Remove the hoop.
- Turn the fabric inside out and carefully trim away STIFFY 2040 with scissors.
